Opening night of Art gallery Hygiene Station with the first exhibition show

Art gallery Hygiene Station was built up in rooms of a former original Hygiene station and preserved some of the specific nontraditional indoor elements for exhibiting such us shower baths and sinks etc. Curiously structured interior is definitely meant to be used for unconventional way of exposing a work of art. We asked several Czech artists to create a piece of work directly and thematically related to the particular place for the first public exhibiton. Great showcase of many various styles of art was made and will present the future development of the gallery focusing mainly on alternative art. Apart from the usual media such as paint, draw or photography visitors will mainly see DIY silk print graphics and styles as a comic book style, popart, tattoo and pop surrealism. As well as temporary thematic exhibits by invited artists the visitors will also be able to see samples of the newest artwork of the Hura Collective who proudly present their work and invite all of you to this unique occasion. All paintings on view will be available for sale as well as silk print goods by HURA Collective, comic books and some magazines about art. All offered products are being upgraded through time.
